Day One Bwindi Impenetrable Forest: Depart Kampala very early morning and head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for Gorilla trekking or tracking. Day Two: With an early rise by the sound of the birds, you are served with breakfast and then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park Headquarters for the Gorilla trekking (tracking) brief information and meet with the Ranger guide. Split into groups according to one assigned to you.
It’s time to encounter with the gorillas in their natural setting. Trekking through this strange as well as beautiful forest with so much to see prior to meeting your Mountain Gorilla Group. You will enjoy sightseeing different bird species, butterflies, vegetation and other primates which will be amazing and still make your day so exceptional. Something you must take note of is the fact that when tracking (trekking),this will call for hiking as well as climbing the hills as you get the chance to confront the great Mountain Gorillas. At a distance of about 5 meters, you will watch them in their groups as they do their daily routine such as feeding their young ones, playing and resting. Unfortunately, you can’t discover the mountain gorillas in zoos but rather in Africa where a few are still left surviving. With so much work done by the conservationists, many of the gorillas are found in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest thus offering a face to face encounter with them. Day Three Lake Bunyonyi: Have breakfast and head off to the mystifying lake Bunyonyi.Lonely planet has acknowledged this lake as a clear sight of Lord of the Rings. What makes it unique from other lakes is that it’s the second deepest lake in Africa. It has various kinds of fish including the delicious crayfish, therefore get ready for the cookery amusement of the day. After settling in your lodge, you may take a walk around the lake as you enjoy spotting different bird species. Because of the peaceful as well as cool environment, you may decide to meditate upon your life without destructions. Lake Bunyonyi is a Bilharzia free lake thus swimming can be done at any time. Day Five: Have breakfast at an early hour and off for the morning Game Drive through various kinds of vegetation. This will give you a chance to catch a glimpse of the early risers that you wouldn’t love to miss. The park has about four unique species of animals that you can’t fail to see at any corner of the park, majority are found licking the salty soil. Fortunately Lake Mburo is such a fascinating part of Uganda with crowds of zebras, impalas, antelopes along with the African Eland. Horseback safari can be arranged depending on your choice. After an adventurous game drive, we get ready to say bye to Lake Mburo as we check out and drive back to Kampala with stops to visit the Equator along with the popular Buganda Royal drum makers.Photographics are taken to make this day memorable. Arrive in late afternoon in Kampala and proceed to your hotel and if you have a flight, you continue to Entebbe Airport. You may wish to visit the vibrant nightlife in Kampala, where the party never ends.You will drink and dance as you enjoy the warm friendship of Ugandans. Our guide will be around to drive you back to your hotel when you get tired.
