Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to track the Mountain Gorillas, Queen Elizabeth National Park to see the Wildlife and Lake Mburo to see herds of Zebras and other wildlife. It’s one of the best safaris you can have as you discover the true wilderness of Uganda. Day 1 – Your safari begins as you depart Kampala in the morning right after your breakfast. Drive off to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the journey is interesting as you will enjoy seeing the beautiful countryside that is surrounded by hills and the ever green vegetation. You can stop the vehicle at any time just in case you see something interesting or take pictures. Have Lunch in Mbarara and proceed to Bwindi.Check in at your choice of lodge. These range from up market to budget for example Gorilla forest camp, Buhoma lodge, Buhoma Community Lodge, Gorilla resort and Mahogany springs lodge. All these offer a wonderful view overlooking the Impenetrable Forest. You will be welcomed by the different sounds of birds and the stream of water flowing within the forest. Have dinner and rest.

Day 2 – Here comes the long awaited day of adventure at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Have an early morning breakfast and right away go to the park’s Headquarters for an orientation about the rules that govern you and the gorillas. Meet your game ranger and go in your assigned group accordingly. Hiking through the mysterious forest is breathtaking as you will come across other primates, birds, butterflies, flora and fauna. Some level of fitness is required because tracking the gorillas usually takes about 8 hours or less depending on where they were the day before. Children below the age of 15 are not allowed to track the Mountain Gorillas. Getting an up close look at the gorillas will be mesmerizing; you will see the Silverback playing with the young ones, some resting and other feeding. It will certainly be an experience of a lifetime.

After tracking (trekking) depending on time and your energy levels, we take a village walk to see the Batwa people. These are the pygmies that have lived in the forest for quite some time. You will love their traditional ways, women handcraft shop and how they brew beer locally. They will entertain you with their cultural dances and still sing for you as a way of thanking you for visiting them. Have dinner at your lodge and rest.

Day 3 –Marvel with the Wildlife Safari: An exquisite morning breakfast and off to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive is not boring as you will be enjoying the countryside scenery. Check in to your desired lodge. Some of the lodges that are close to the park include Kyambura game lodge, Ihamba lodge, Enganzi Lodge, Kingfisher Lodge, Simba safari camp and Katara Lodge. These range from luxury to budget. They all have a beautiful view of the park and you will see animals roaming around the lodge as you have your lunch.

Late in the afternoon, we set off for the game drive in the shadows of the Rwenzoria Mountains. You will see many animals such as antelopes, elephants, lions, buffaloes, leopards, hippos and many others. This will be the beginning of your adventurous safari in Uganda.Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at either of the lodges below;

Day 4 – Queen Elizabeth Park Wildlife Safari: Right after breakfast, we set off for the morning game drive. It’s the best time to see animals retiring to go sleep while others getting up to look for food. As you drive through the crater area, you will see many resting. You will see lions, elephants, antelopes, buffaloes, Ugandan Kob, warthogs, abundance of bird species and many more. In the afternoon, we get ready for the boat Where to find big collections of Willdifecruise on the Kazinga channel; all animals you failed to see on land will be seen in water. Get a chance to see large concentration of hippos thrashing the river, crocodiles basking the sun, herds of Elephant drinking water, buffaloes and many others. As you enjoy your cruise, you see the evergreen vegetation ahead of you and actually appreciate that Uganda is gifted by nature. Have dinner at your lodge and rest.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth Park – Chimpanzee tracking: Have breakfast and we leave for Kyambura Gorge for Chimpanzee tracking. The walk is quite simple as you will be guided by a game ranger taking you to the best spots where Chimpanzees are found. They don’t have a specific place where to find them therefore the guide must be well experienced to relocate them. They keep moving from one place to another. The nocturnal game drive is optional. Return to lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 6: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park: Wake up early morning and have breakfast, leave for Lake Mburo National Park. A magnificent place to relax after a long journey. They have lodges that range from luxury to budget for example Mantana Lodge, Arcadia Lodge and Mihingo Lodge. Whichever you choose will depend on your choice. Check in your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon we head for the boat cruise around Lake Mburo.There is various wildlife to see such as crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes and different bird species. Get back to your lodge, rest a bit and go for a sunset walk guided by a ranger. You will still see various wildlife as you walk through the vegetation. Have dinner at your lodge and rest.

Day 7 – Your adventurous safari is about to end: Early morning breakfast and off for the game drive. See the marvelous animals and bird species in their natural habitat surrounded by acacia trees with spread savannah. Check out of the lodge and depart to Kampala. Have lunch in  Masaka and the next stop is at Nabusanke Trading Center, take photos at the Equator and proceed to Mpambire to see the Buganda Royal Drum Makers. You can purchase a souvenir for a memorable safari in Uganda. Continue to Kampala and check in to your hotel if not proceed to Entebbe for your flight. The experience will be worth your time and money. In case you have time, you may enjoy visiting the vibrant nightlife in Kampala. The night looks as though the day as just started with people moving bar to bar. It’s one place where parties never end. Whichever day you decide to go clubbing, you will find people having fun. All kind of music is played as you drink and dance with the friendly Ugandans. Our driver will take you back to your hotel and rest.
