Lake Kitandara Tented Camp

Lake Kitandara Tented Camp is a moderate camp located in the heart of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It’s the perfect place for your gorilla tracking Encounter. It was constructed in 1994 and it has hosted many guests since then. Accommodation consists of 20 furnished tents with both twin and double beds. Each tent has a bathroom with hot and cold water. Solar powered lights in each tent.

A well designed verandah overlooking the Impenetrable forest, you can get a chance and see Mountain gorillas moving around the camp. You can recharge your batteries or phones. Meals are delicious and well prepared with an international and local touch.
The staff is friendly and welcoming. They will be more than willing to serve you to your needs. Packed lunch is offered for the gorilla tracking day. Camping facilities are as well provided. It’s a 5 minute walk from the camp to the park Headquarters in Buhoma. The experience at Lake Kitandara offers lasting memories.
