Day 1 Kibale Forest
Our Uganda safari of 11 day primate and wildlife starts. We depart Kampala or Entebbe Airport at an early hour for our Primate and Wildlife safari. Lunch in Mubende. You can as well delight in the beautiful scenery of the area, visiting the Nakayima Witch Tree will be exciting. It’s a place where majority of Ugandans go for spiritual powers, you will see the local people attaching so much value to the tree. Arrive at Kibale Forest National Park and check in to your desired lodge. These range from luxury, moderate and budget. Some of these include Chimp Nest lodge, Ndali Lodge, Primate Lodge and many others. Whichever you decide with, you will have a wonderful stay with the best view overlooking the park. Right after dinner or before, we take up an evening forest walk with so much emphasis to see the night time primates which include the bushbaby and potto (bushbaby has an amazing night cry which will be the first signal to spot them). You will still see other nocturnal bird species and wildlife. Return to your lodge and rest in any of the ones stated;

Day 2 Kibale Forest
Have your morning breakfast and get prepared for yet another exciting day. We drive off to Kibale Forest for chimpanzee tracking (trekking) encounter in Uganda and for sure see other amazing primates such as L’Hoest’s Monkeys, Blue Monkeys, Red Colobus Monkeys, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Baboons, Black and White Colobus Monkeys and the wildlife that can be spotted at any corner of the park. Kibale forest is endowed with beauty and because of this rain forest, it has been a home to various birdlife. Lunch at your lodge and rest.
In the afternoon, we tour the neighboring Bigodi Swamp Wetland; it has over 135 bird species that can be discovered in the polita figs, wild palms as well as papyrus. You will be entertained by various kinds of monkeys and still get a chance to see the uncommon sitatunga antelope. Surprisingly you may still discover a few chimpanzees along the way. After the wonderful nature walk, you get back to your lodge for Dinner and rest.
Day 3 Queen Elizabeth
We head off to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is a four hours drive and right away have lunch. Check in to your desired lodge. Majority of these range from luxury, moderate and budget. Some of these include Katara lodge, Simba Safari Camp, Bush lodge, Enganzi lodge, Kingfisher lodge, Kyambura game lodge and many others. In the afternoon we proceed for a boat ride on Kazinga Channel, this is where fun and adventure begins with the biggest concentration of crocodiles, hippos, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and large numbers of bird species. This will be a magnificent welcome to the park. A well deserved dinner and rest at your lodge. Full Board

This is optional, we either have dinner before or after our nocturnal game drive where adventure awaits us to see the wildlife moving around at wee hours of the night . Our guide ranger will take you to the best spots to see the nocturnal birds, hyenas, leopards, lions and many other animals you may miss out during day. Dinner at your lodge and rest.
Day 4 Queen Elizabeth Park
Have breakfast at an early hour and set off for Chimpanzee Tracking at Kyambura Gorge. You will be delighted to see a big population of chimpanzees in Maramagambo Forest in Queen Elizabeth Park; however the habituated Chimpanzees are only discovered at Kyambura Gorge. Apart from the chimpanzees, you will see other primates such as the Olive Baboons, Vervet Monkeys, Black and white Colobus Monkeys, if you’re lucky enough, you may see the red tailed Monkeys. Kyambura is such a fascinating spot for birdwatchers, the common birds seen include Blue Bellied Kingfisher, Black Bee Eater and many others. After tracking the Chimpanzees, have lunch and proceed for a nature walk at Maramagambo Forest. You will be welcomed by some primates such as Vervet Monkeys, Red Tailed Monkeys, Black and white Colobus and L’Hoest’s Monkeys. You will see some chimpanzees and leopards at a distance. Birds spotted include woodpeckers, Sunbirds, Forest Grenbuls and many others. Return to your lodge prior to dinner, we take off the afternoon game drive to see the marvelous crater lakes. At this spot, you will see various wildlife for instance giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, lions, monkeys and many bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner and rest.
Day 5 Queen Elizabeth Park and Bwindi Forest
Have breakfast very early morning and proceed to Bwindi, on our way we engage in a game drive to see the tree climbing lions in Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This moment is quite amazing seeing lions resting in the trees all day just to get rid of the irritating bugs. Packed Lunch. We head off to Bwindi and arrive late afternoon, check in to your desired lodge. How much a gorilla safari costs will depend on the type of accommodation you opt for . Gorilla trekking packing list must be considered because if you have the right safari gear, you will have the best of your time with the gorillas. The lodges range from luxury, moderate and budget. Some of these include Buhoma Community Rest Camp, Buhoma Lodge, Gorilla Resort, Gorilla Forest Camp, Mahogany Springs Lodge and many others. You may decide to rest for some time and after go hiking on Munyaga waterfall trail, this takes about three hours. Your adventure will start right from here seeing many primates and different bird species along the river. Have dinner at your lodge and rest.
Day 6 Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
This is the day that will determine your great encounter with tracking or trekking the endangered Mountain gorillas. Have an early morning breakfast and lunch will be packed as you head out for the orientation and as well meeting the ranger guides who will lead you in your respective groups. Among the gorilla families discovered in Bwindi include; Rushegura, Kyaguriro, Oruzogo, Habinyanja, Nshongi, Bitukura, Mubare, Nkuringo and Kahungye. Whichever you are assigned to, you will have a wonderful encounter with them. As you start your hike, you are actually filled with joy and can’t wait to see the great gorillas. Usually tracking the gorillas takes about 8 hours or less depending on the place where they were the day before. Getting a closer look at the Mountain gorillas will show you how worth this safari is. You will see them doing their daily routine work such as playing, resting as well as mothers feeding the young ones. Gorilla trekking with children is allowed although these must be above 15 years of age. Elderly people wishing to track the gorillas can as well plan for a safari; such people track the Rushegura group of gorillas that is close to the park. The adventure will be memorable for the rest of your life. Depending on your energy levels and time, you may take a village walk and see the Batwa people who live in Bwindi. You will visit the women handcraft shop, traditional healer, community school and how they make their beer locally. These people will entertain you with their traditional dance and songs. Day 7 Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Have an early morning breakfast and proceed to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, on your way, you will see both the active and inactive volcanoes that will make your trip exciting. These will provide a good scenic view of the area preparing you to meet the golden monkeys. As you track the golden monkeys, you will see other wildlife that will make the encounter adventurous. You will visit Lake Mutanda the park’s best magnificent feature. Check in to your desired lodge and have lunch. Full Board. In the afternoon, we go for a boat ride on Lake Mutanda acknowledged as the best stunning lake around the area. You will be mesmerized by the Volcanoes surrounding the Lake. The silence of the lake is felt by the sounds of the birds along with an evening sunset that will make your day special and memorable. If you love birds, you will see various kinds of them. A well deserved Dinner and rest at your lodge.

Day 8 Mgahinga Gorilla Park
Have breakfast and off for a thrilling moment at Mgahinga Gorilla Park with packed lunch. Early morning, we track the golden monkeys. Fortunately there are still surviving in Mgahinga and there are close to 4000 of them in existence. Something interesting about the Golden monkeys is that its limbs and tail are black, the cheeks and tail are so unique and then the bright orange gold colored body that makes it so attractive and worth tracking. After having a great time with the Golden monkeys, it’s time to have your packed lunch and thereafter set off for the Rugezi swamp. This place harbors so many forest elephants, bush pigs that are so interesting to see as well as different kinds of bird species for instance Olive Woodpecker, Western Green Tinker bird along with the Rwenzori Turaco and many more. You will actually see other amazing monkeys and other wildlife along the track as you will be guided by a ranger guide. Return to your lodge for dinner and rest.
Day 9 Lake Mburo Park
Have morning Breakfast and hit the road for lake Mburo National Park. On your way, you will love the scenic view of the area. Check in your reserved lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, we take the boat ride to see large concentration of crocodiles, hippos, zebras, buffaloes, Impala and Eland at the shore of the lake. You will still see various kinds of bird species for instance Bush Shrike, Papyrus, African Fin Foot and many others. The park is acknowledged for having over 315 bird species.
Lake Mburo is a prolongation of the Tanzanian plains extending into Uganda. It’s covered with savannah and some scattered acacia trees that make the park look more significant. It’s one park in Uganda where you can’t fail to see the large numbers of zebras roaming around the park. The primates that you may see here include baboons and Vervet Monkeys. Dinner at your lodge and rest.
Day 10 Lake Mburo
Early morning breakfast and proceed for a game drive, you will discover so many wildlife including leopards, buffaloes, antelopes and big numbers of zebras. Current reports have alleged the come again lions and the rangers say they are one male and two females that can be discovered at lake Mburo but only with a tour guide. Formerly Lake Mburo was known for so many lions but all these disappeared during the turmoil of Uganda as well as the Pastoralist that occupied the area. Recently some lions are tracking their way back in the park although the success rate is still low. However we hope to see many in the park. Right after the game drive, we hit the road back to Kampala. We have our lunch along the way and as well stop at the equator and Buganda Royal drum makers, you can buy a souvenir that will remind you of a wonderful safari you had in Uganda. Day 11 Entebbe
Have breakfast at an early hour of the morning and off to Ngamba Chimpanzee Island along Lake Victoria. Accessing this place will require taking up a boat ride on the largest lake in Uganda, thus Lake Victoria to Ngamba Island. You will enjoy the surrounding of the lake and still see some bird species. Briefly this Island was established to cater for the orphaned chimpanzees. They are offered special treatment and they always feel peace at home. Food is served in time and when they fall sick, they are treated immediately. We have lunch on the island and get back at around 5pm for dinner. You may rest in the hotel or head off to Entebbe for your flight. If you still have time, you can opt for nightlife in Kampala, where the party never ends. You will move from bar to bar as you enjoy the best of the night. You will enjoy lots of drinking and dancing with the friendly Ugandans. Our guide will be waiting to return you back to your Hotel and Rest.
